Jason Devor, Why Now?
Why I’m Running: Answering the Call to Serve Our Community
I’m running for EVMWD District 4 Director because our community needs a leader who understands its unique challenges and has the relationships to get things done. When leaders from Lake Elsinore and Corona approached me to run, they highlighted the need for someone deeply connected with city staff, local businesses, and residents. They saw in me the ability to bridge these gaps, and I felt a strong calling to step up.
As a real estate broker and active community member, I’ve built a career on trust, transparency, and a commitment to positive growth. This is the perfect time in my life to give back in a bigger way, using my experience to advocate for fair water rates, responsible development, and a transparent approach to water management. I’m here to represent your interests and work collaboratively to ensure a prosperous future for Lake Elsinore.
A Strong Foundation in Real Estate and Community Engagement
With years of experience as a real estate broker, I have a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities that face our community. I’ve worked closely with homeowners, businesses, and developers, gaining firsthand insights into the complexities of growth, affordability, and sustainable development. This background has equipped me with the skills to navigate the nuances of policy and advocate effectively for solutions that benefit everyone.
Beyond my professional expertise, my deep-rooted connections in Lake Elsinore have shaped my commitment to public service. From organizing local events that bring residents together to actively participating in community discussions, I’ve always believed in the power of engagement and collaboration. I want to take that same spirit of involvement and dedication to the EVMWD Board, ensuring that every voice is heard and that we work together towards a thriving future.
Why Now?
The challenges we face require a new kind of leadership—one that is proactive, informed, and deeply connected to the community. I am running because I believe I can bring that leadership to the EVMWD Board. I want to be an advocate for our residents, a voice for responsible growth, and a steward of our most precious resources.
This campaign is about more than just a position—it’s about making a difference. It’s about ensuring that every decision made is a step towards a better, more sustainable, and more prosperous Lake Elsinore. Together, we can tackle the issues at hand and lay the groundwork for a future that we can all be proud of.
I am excited about the opportunity to serve and to work with each of you to make our community the best it can be. Let’s move forward together.
